The emphatically understated Helium SL is something of a counter-design to the extroverted Noah. As a typical representative of the current lightweight generation, the frame has a voluminous down tube that is extremely wide at the bottom bracket and pencil-thin seat stays. This design has advantages for the measurements in the TOUR laboratory. Consistently convincing measurement values give the frame a very good result, although sprinters like André Greipel might wish for a little more stiffness in the head tube and bottom bracket. However, like other lightweight frames, the Helium struggles in the wind tunnel. Here it generates the second-highest air resistance after Merida's Scultura. Due to its low weight, however, it can make up a few places on the simulated test track.
