For the XXL version of the "Pro-SL" aluminium frame, mail order company Rose has not only extended the top tube, but also the wheelbase beyond the usual dimensions. Good: The steering behaviour remains neutral, even large feet don't get in the way of the front wheel. What also characterises the black giant is the almost unreal steering head stiffness of 131 Nm/°. This may seem excessive to those of normal weight, but heavy athletes will be delighted with the extremely torsion-resistant chassis. The classic wheels with 32 spokes each, on which Rose offers a five-year guarantee against spoke breakage, are particularly pleasing. Another argument is the price. An XXL bike of this quality would be hard to find cheaper.
