The model name is a reminiscence of the racing driver Michel Vaillant, the main character of a Franco-Belgian comic classic. The carbon frame with ultra-slim tubes is a typical aero model. Not untypical for models trimmed for speed, the beautifully crafted frame is neither lightweight nor a miracle of comfort. However, the technical values are consistently in the acceptable range. Thanks to its high riding stability, the bike, which is designed for a stretched riding position, runs smoothly and tracks well. With a complete Ultegra groupset and proven wheels from the manufacturer Citec, which roll on Schwalbe's new top One tyres, the bike is fairly priced. The narrow saddle may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the Syntace aluminium handlebars sit perfectly in the hands.
