How can a complete bike with the latest SRAM Red groupset cost 2500 euros when the groupset alone costs over 2000 euros when sold individually? Only the Bonn-based mail order company H & S, which is behind Radon, knows the answer to this question. But we can provide an explanation: The cassette comes from the predecessor series of the current Red; the tyres are also older stock. Savings have also been made on the saddle and seat post as well as the cables, which run more sluggishly than the originals. If you can live with the resulting limitations - the hardness of the saddle is particularly noticeable - you still get an excellent basis for future upgrades. However, there is not much to invest. Citec wheels are known to be durable, while the Syntace handlebar/stem combination fulfils higher demands.
