The striking paintwork of the Radon and the agile and lively handling left a lasting impression. A short trail makes the bike very manoeuvrable and the comparatively light Citec wheels are easy to accelerate. Although the frameset weighs considerably more than the models of the mail-order competition from Canyon and Rose - which is probably also due to the generous application of paint - the steering head and bottom bracket are exceptionally stiff. The short head tube gives the Radon a decidedly race-like riding position. All in all, it is a bike that should suit criterium riders. The rest of the equipment with Shimano's complete Ultegra groupset, compact handlebars and stem from Syntace as well as top tyres from Schwalbe is classy, only the saddle and seat post fall somewhat short of this high level of quality.
