A carbon racer for 1,500 euros? H&S answers the question with a clear "yes". The bike is based on a stiff, apparently well-made frame, which is also sold in this form under other brand names. Its weight of 1,277 grams, although rather heavy for a carbon frame, is the best in the test field. Other plus points include good stiffness values and impact-resistant paint. There is also nothing to criticise about the equipment with the complete "Ultegra SL" groupset from Shimano, reliable handlebar/stem combination from Syntace and Schwalbe tyres. Only the simple "Aksium" wheels from Mavic are an indication that even at H&S the trees don't grow into the sky. Instead of a guarantee, H&S offers to replace accidentally damaged frames with an equivalent model within five years for a fixed price of 450 euros.
