Principia's "105" candidate impresses with its sporty look; with the white painted add-on parts, the red and white racer is a real eye-catcher. At first glance, the beautifully finished aluminium frame is indistinguishable from an expensive carbon model. With the gear cables running through the head tube and finely polished weld seams, the Danes also demonstrate an eye for detail on the entry-level frame. However, the frameset contributes a lot to the high overall weight of the bike. On the road, the bike is nevertheless as manoeuvrable as it is extremely stable; only on long distances does it lack a little comfort. The riding position is stretched for racing, but not too extreme. The FSA cranks and brakes perform as expected; the FSA wheels are simple, unproblematic and fit perfectly into the overall picture.
