After the slip-up in the last test (see TOUR 4/2013->), mail-order company Poison can rehabilitate itself in the € 1,500 class with the Oxygen. Although the simple carbon frame lacks a little temperament, it is cleanly finished and delivers decent technical values. The equipment is appropriate for the price, the Ksyrium-Equipe wheels are even above the class level. The simple, thin FSA handlebar, on the other hand, is not only uncomfortable to grip, it also doesn't really fit in with the pleasing overall look. In practice, the bike turns out to be a smooth straight-line runner, with which you can scrub many fast kilometres in the deeply shaped lower handlebars. One of the Neuwied-based mail-order company's plus points is the option of customising each bike according to the customer's wishes.
