The lightweight wheels, which account for the majority of the not inconsiderable weight advantage that the Poison has over its specialist dealer competitors, were praised above all. The bike steers agilely and accelerates well. There was no criticism of the only average riding stability. In any case, a value of 77 Newton metres per degree in the steering head is not a cause for concern. The Avid BB7 disc brake is a proven classic and was well received by the testers. One downside: Poison does not currently have the often requested frame size 58 in its programme.
