With its long head tube, the "Opiate" frame is aimed at riders who prefer to sit upright. In terms of measurements, the construction protected by robust powder coating is average in almost all disciplines. This costs a few tenths in the final tally, but the Eifel-based company compensates for this with one of the best equipment packages in the test. High-quality components throughout, including fine wheels from "DT Swiss" as a highlight, reduce the total weight to 7.85 kilos - only Canyon is lighter. Due to the light front wheel, the steering behaviour is more agile than the geometry data would suggest. All in all, an attractive offer.
