Poison's easy-to-use online modular system allows you to customise the bike to your own requirements - instead of the default configuration with Shimano's Ultegra components and Mavic's Aksium wheels, we were advised to choose a cheaper 105 with high-quality Ksyrium Elite wheels for the same budget. The riding position is very comfortable, but if you want a more sporty position, you should go for the Opiat model - the advice we received over the phone addressed this question in detail. The simple, neatly finished frameset is extremely stiff and offers heavy riders sufficient safety reserves. Lighter riders, on the other hand, are more likely to feel the limited comfort. We find two bottle cages and a set of Shimano pedals very useful.
