As with the top model "Orca", Orbea also presents an independent bike with the "Opal". The front cable stops on the voluminous head tube are typical of the brand. The Orbea is neutral on the road, the frame's stiffness values are satisfactory and the very laterally stiff "Cosmic Carbone SL" aero wheels do their bit to keep the Opal safely on track at all times. The riding position is relaxed thanks to the long head tube. The Opal is available in three equipment variants, each of which allows you to choose the components from a small modular system. The Basque company confidently offers a lifetime guarantee on the frame, but the fork is excluded from this. The paint quality is in need of improvement; even a slight stone chip can cause the top layer to flake off.
