Müsing Onroad Lite 2013
Solid, relatively heavy aluminium frame; above average equipment. Lots of sizes.

Müsing didn't want to take part in the test at first - that would have been a shame, because the aluminium racer, which is pleasingly light for this price class, has its qualities. The reason for the hesitation: The frame was supposed to make way for a lighter successor this spring, but due to delivery delays, this is now coming later. You won't make a mistake with the "old" Onroad Lite. The well-made frame is extremely stable, internally routed cables and press-fit bottom bracket are state of the art. A plus point is the opulent equipment, which otherwise only mail order companies can manage. Shimano's Ultegra groupset is complemented by Citec 3000 wheels, a favourite among frequent riders, with a slightly cheaper rim that stutters slightly but controllably on the front wheel when braking. Parts from Ritchey's lightweight WCS series and top Conti tyres round off the positive impression.
