With a massive head tube, a very voluminous down tube and rectangular seat stays aligned at right angles to the direction of travel, the Scultura frame offers the wind a lot of surface area to attack. 226 watts at 45 km/h or two and a half minutes behind the fastest bike on the virtual test track is a handicap in competition and means 24th place in the speed ranking. The bike is very comfortable to ride. It reacts spontaneously to acceleration and impresses with its smooth ride, high steering precision and good damping, to which a proportion of flax fibres in the carbon layup contribute. One drawback is the short rear triangle, where the mounted 23 mm tyre hits the seat tube when the wheel is removed. The 25 mm tyres that are becoming more and more fashionable cannot be fitted to the Scultura.
