The type designation could be misleading: The Scultura CF 905 has little in common with the extremely race-orientated Scultura CF Team. Thanks to the long head tube, you sit on the 905 almost as relaxed as on a marathon racer; the long rear triangle also allows 25 mm tyres to be fitted instead of the standard 23 mm. The frame, which is heavy for a carbon model with generous tube diameters, is sufficiently stable for most conceivable riding situations. Its outstanding quality is the excellent suspension comfort of the carbon seatpost. Unfortunately, the concept is not continued on the handlebars; the heavy FSA bar with its unusual position is one of the most unyielding in the test. The powerful bi-colour brakes from TRP and the coherent design stood out positively.
