Only positive reactions to Merida's Reacto: With components and add-on parts colour-coordinated with the frame, the bike looks like a single entity. There's nothing to criticise technically either: In the wind tunnel, it achieved a solid result in the midfield of the competition, and in the TOUR lab test, the frame was on a par with Canyon. No frame is lighter, the stiffness values are on a par with very good "non-aerodynamic" models. A feast for the eyes is the aero seatpost, which even at second glance looks like an integrated seatpost. In reality, however, it can be easily adjusted in height, although this should not be done too often out of consideration for the painted surface. The pleasing picture is rounded off by high-quality components from SRAM and FSA. The very stretched riding position characterises the Reacto as an uncompromising racing machine.
