With its predecessor, the Taiwanese brand jumped on the aero bandwagon early on. Compared to typical round tube frames, the old Reacto was already relatively fast, but only the new one with the Evo suffix takes the idea a step further. Second place in the aero ranking is not only proof of the expertise of the Swabian development team, but also good news for the professionals of the Lampre team, who are to ride the Reacto Evo in 2014. The other laboratory measurements are solid, but not outstanding. The functionally impressive direct mount brakes from Shimano, the rear one of which is located behind the bottom bracket, are still rare. The aero seat post allows a wide range of seat angles - good for triathletes. An elastomer shock absorber noticeably reduces the hardness otherwise typical of this design.
