The eye-catching feature of the independent Kharma is the aerodynamic seat tube, which houses a seatpost that can be rotated through 180 degrees. This means that the well-made carbon frame covers a wide range of seat angles, making it suitable for use in time trials. The equipment selected from a comprehensive modular programme is all of a piece. The saddle, handlebars and tyres are of the highest standard, while Campa's new Scirocco wheels with a 35 millimetre rim profile clearly set themselves apart from their predecessors of the same name. The overall riding impression is convincing: the riding stability couldn't be better, the riding position is moderately sporty, the steering behaviour balanced. Only the fork could be lighter and more comfortable.
