The K-Uno is explicitly advertised as a marathon and long-distance racer. This is a misleading categorisation, as the riding position is quite sporty compared to other models. The second lightest frame in the test convinces with good technical values, but a lighter fork would be a good idea. The 11-speed drivetrain with 52/36 teeth at the front and a 12-29 cassette offers one of the widest gear ratios available. The equipment from Kuota's modular range is colour-coordinated with the deep black matt finish of the frame. The wheels, saddle and handlebars are top quality and contribute to the low weight. The bike accelerates correspondingly easily and the steering is agile. What is missing is a mudguard to prevent chain jamming.
