The basis for KTM's "105" racer is a carbon frame manufactured using the tube-to-tube process, which has quite decent technical values. Only the comfort of the fork and seat post could be a little better. There is nothing to criticise in terms of workmanship, and the intelligent cable routing on the head tube is very well designed. There is hardly any reason to criticise the equipment either: high-quality DT Swiss wheels, a complete "105" groupset and stable, albeit heavy, Ritchey components guarantee good function and high mileage. The top tyres from Schwalbe, which are not a matter of course in this price range, must be emphasised, as they make a significant contribution to the bike being a lot of fun to ride. In view of the good equipment, the price is acceptable. Other paint finishes are not offered.
