This model from the Austrians is one of the positive surprises in the test. The neatly finished carbon frame with monostay rear triangle, external gear cables and classic BSA threaded bottom bracket impresses with good riding stability. At the rear, the bike feels quite harsh, which could be significantly improved with a more flexing seatpost and a more comfortable saddle. The equipment is high quality and functionally fully convincing. The rarely used triple option of the Ultegra groupset deserves special mention. Anyone who spends a lot of time in the mountains will appreciate the wide range of gear ratios. The Ksyrium Equipe wheels from Mavic are high quality for the price range, while the Ultremo tyres impress with their good grip and smooth ride.
