The Revelator 4000 is available with Ultegra 2x11 drivetrain or "old" Ultegra 3x10 drivetrain. As the 11-speed version is above our price target, KTM sent us the more affordable triple version. The wide gear range, which comes close to a 1:1 ratio in first gear, can be an argument that outweighs the higher weight of the triple solution. The technically good carbon frame, on which you sit in a moderately sporty position, is stable and manoeuvrable, the DT Swiss wheels are fitted with high-quality Conti tyres. In contrast, the add-on parts are somewhat inferior. The handlebars, which are very thin in the grip area, make the front of the bike look harder than necessary. The saddle with its very wide nose was rated as too hard by both testers. Points of criticism that are easy to change - the frame would have deserved it.
