Koga's "Roadracer" makes a solid impression in the best sense of the word. The well-made frame impresses with its reassuring stiffness values and reasonable weight. The paintwork is clean and impact-resistant. The pleasantly unobtrusive riding impression is helped by the fact that no experiments were made with the equipment. "Ultegra" components impress with their well-known reliability and Pro components inspire confidence. The third chainring offers a climbing aid that is not to be despised on long and very steep climbs. Previous reservations about triple cranks due to poorer shifting behaviour are no longer an issue with Shimano's current triple groupsets. The only fly in the ointment: for € 2,300, you would wish for lighter wheels than the simple "Aksium" wheels.
