Cross-country cycling has a long tradition in Holland - so it makes sense that the traditional Dutch brand also has a crosser in its programme. It impresses with a solid aluminium frame and very decent equipment. The stretched seating position and the 46/36 tooth chainring combination, which is suitable for racing, clearly appeal to sporty, ambitious riders. The picture is somewhat clouded by the weight of more than nine kilos. On the other hand, the "Crosswinner" is relatively inexpensive. Alongside Berner, it offers the best price-performance ratio in the test. The biggest point of criticism is the cantilever brakes, which are moderate in the dry and weak in the wet. The fork also tends to vibrate when braking in the wet. The simple Shimano wheels are slightly below the usual equipment level.
