The Kimera is known for its pronounced racing geometry. In contrast, the riding position of the Kimera KomForza has been softened somewhat, but the aluminium frame is still far removed from a typical marathon geometry. Nevertheless, the bike is well damped. Many riders will find the relatively wide saddle comfortable, and the 25-millimetre Vredestein tyres provide noticeable cushioning. However, they roll slowly, possibly due to the diamond tread on the shoulders and slightly lowered tread in the centre. The elegant, well-made frame is solidly equipped with Shimano's complete 105 groupset. The rare triple crankset offers a wide range of gear ratios. The shift and brake cables are a little stiff. We would swap the thin, somewhat uncomfortable handlebars.
