After taking part in the Tour last year, the Dutch Skil-Shimano team did not receive another invitation to the Tour of France in 2010. No reason not to invite equipment supplier Koga to the test. Apart from the high set weight, to which the 529 gram fork in particular contributes, the carbon frame in the team design has no weaknesses. The riding position is typically quite sporty for Koga. As the stiffness values are consistently in the green zone, the bike impresses with good propulsion and high steering precision. Lovers of long mountain stages will also be pleased with the third chainring with a corresponding gear ratio reserve. The wheels with white spokes are stylish, albeit quite heavy. Good: the fine size gradation and the generous ten-year warranty on the frame and fork.
