With the new SystemSix aero road bike, Cannondale departs from its characteristic round tube look.
Cannondale offers a total of five different versions of the model: The two expensive Hi-Mod models equipped with electric shifting use lighter carbon fibres, which reduce the weight to 7.6 kilograms. Power meters from Power2Max are also pre-assembled as standard. However, an activation fee of 490 euros is payable before use.
There is also a women's version and a variant with electric Ultegra gears. At 3,999 euros, the most affordable bike in the model range does without aero rims and an integrated cockpit. All bikes are only available with disc brakes.
Cannondale promises a 10 per cent wattage saving on flat terrain compared to the previous SuperSix model.
