The carbon frame of the Speed SL comes from the same mould as its lightweight sister model, the Affair. Both share the most important distinguishing features: unusual tube profiles, internally routed shift cables and a press-fit bottom bracket. However, there is a significant difference in weight of just under 300 grams. As a result, the Speed SL is very stable, yet pleasantly comfortable to ride. In addition to the well-flexing seatpost, the successful tuning of the fork is responsible for this. The equipment with 105 groupset and F ulcrum wheels is functionally convincing; one flaw is that the red colours on the fork and seatpost clash with the Bordeaux red on the frame.
