High-quality, independent carbon racer; largely good equipment, somewhat simple wheels.

The TCR Composite 1 is based on an independent, technically very good carbon frame with external brake and gear cables, which would also look good on a significantly more expensive model. The geometry strikes the perfect balance between a classic racing position and a comfortable riding position - a design that should suit many riders. Not many specialist brands offer a complete Ultegra groupset for less than €2,000. The compromise you have to make is the heaviest wheels in this test group, which also roll on heavy clincher tyres. Nevertheless, the bike is fun to ride, it is very stable and manoeuvrable, and the damping is not neglected either. The voluminous handlebars are comfortable to grip and the testers found the saddle extremely comfortable.
