Giant TCR Advanced 2 2012
The Giant TCR Advanced is super stiff, comfortable on the saddle, formally independent and manoeuvrable. Others offer more in terms of equipment.

The TCR Advanced 2 is based on one of the best frames in this comparison. The voluminously dimensioned tubes guarantee maximum riding stability, while the comfort disadvantage of the aero seat post is compensated for by low seat stays. In terms of equipment, Giant is following the trend towards its own brand. With the exception of the Ultegra drivetrain, almost all components bear the manufacturer's logo. This makes comparison with competitor models difficult, but otherwise has no functional disadvantages, apart from the slight brake rubbing of the wheels. However, the bike is also one of the heavier ones in the test. There is nothing to criticise about the riding impression: the steering precision is exemplary, as is the power transmission. The racer's orientation is emphasised by the sporty riding position and the extremely agile steering behaviour.
