The Focus Izalco is a fairly priced carefree racer, has a stable frame and is available in many sizes. Unfortunately, the bike is relatively heavy.

The affordable Izalco Pro is a good choice for those who are not only concerned about weight, but also value harmonious, durable equipment. The sporty riding position, reinforced by the long stem, should appeal to many road cyclists. The steering geometry is well-balanced, but the heavy front wheel makes the bike feel more sluggish than the geometry data would suggest. The heavy handlebars are pleasantly shaped, voluminous tyres provide a little noticeable damping despite the average comfort measurement on the seatpost. SRAM's Force groupset offers good braking and shifting performance; however, the chainrings from last year's groupset are still fitted, which have since been replaced by stiffer, more shift-friendly successors.
