In addition to the relatively upright riding position, which was achieved with a long head tube and a short top tube, the Izalco Ergoride scores with noticeable vertical flex. The steeply inclined top tube requires a wide extension of the seat post, which works like a suspension bar. Even with the single aluminium post, which has an outdated screw-in clamp, the comfort value on the saddle is very good. Even more travel could be achieved with a carbon seat post. This is not necessary, as the voluminous 24 mm tyres contribute to the cushioned riding impression. The equipment with the Force groupset from SRAM, stiff Fulcrum wheels and a comfortable saddle from Fizik is appropriate for the price. The riding stability is sufficient for most situations. The good directional stability emphasises the relaxed character of the bike.
