SRAM components are still quite rare on complete bikes in this country. Focus makes an exception with the "Cayo" test model, in which the shift brake lever and rear derailleur from the top "Red" groupset are combined with brakes and front derailleur from the Force groupset and a simple SRAM crank. A mix that works perfectly in practice. We liked the Red levers slightly better than the "Rival" levers fitted to the Scott test bike due to their shorter shifting travel and crisp shifting behaviour. The carbon frame of the Cayo didn't reveal any outstanding strengths in the lab, but it didn't have any weaknesses either. In the riding test, the manoeuvrable steering behaviour and the sporty riding position were pleasing. The only point of criticism: the seat post with its technically outdated single-bolt clamp.
