Compared to the previous Cayo frame, which was rather restrained in form, the Cayo Evo looks much more modern. The most striking detail is a diagonal edge on the head tube, an element that echoes the newly developed fork. The slightly curved seat stays are significantly slimmer and the extremely narrow top tube is more sloping than before. The Di2 cable disappears into the frame at the front of the head tube and the battery sits under the left-hand chainstay. During the ride test, the bike impressed with its comfortable damping and smooth ride. One small drawback is the relatively high weight, which makes it a little less lively. The main reasons for this are the mounting parts and wheels, where some weight could be saved. On the other hand, the bike is one of the cheapest Ultegra Di2 bikes on the market. On the other hand, the quality on offer is acceptable without restriction.
