According to Focus, the Cayo has the same carbon frame that the pros of the Katjuscha team rode in 2011. In view of the down-to-earth price, one wonders what the catch is and comes to the conclusion that there is none. Despite the high weight for a carbon frame, the sporty bike offers good riding characteristics. In addition to uncritical laboratory values, this is also due to the fact that the overall weight is acceptable for the price range. The equipment - a mix of Force gears and Apex brakes from SRAM, aluminium cranks from FSA and stiff, rather heavy DT Swiss wheels - is functionally flawless. The smooth ride and manoeuvrable steering behaviour were pleasing in the test.
