The brand name is no longer the only programme at Fixie Inc. Because gears sometimes make sense, the Karlsruhe-based company also offers "real" racing bikes - including the "Pure Blood" crosser. The high-contrast painted steel frame is a feast for the eyes for lovers of solid craftsmanship. Like the Monostay rear triangle, the triple clamp and fork blades are brazed without joints, the main tubes are welded and the cable guides are exemplary. A reinforcement plate on the down tube stabilises the construction, which is also an option for heavy riders thanks to its high stiffness values. Despite the relatively high weight, the bike is fun to ride. Thanks to the short wheelbase and lightweight wheels, it is agile to ride, and the Avid disc brakes provide sufficient, easily controlled braking power at all times. The only thing you should get rid of is the annoying squeaking noise, especially in the wet.
