Cube Litening Super HPC SL
Visually top, technically very good, a joy on the road. There is still potential in the wheels and fork.

The skilful colour scheme in black, grey and bright neon green gives the top model from Cube a very unique appearance. The fork, wheels and saddle pick up on the colour theme, while the dark grey of the lettering is echoed in the tyre sidewalls - hardly any other manufacturer matches its bikes as perfectly as Cube. The handling is first class, although the bike doesn't seem quite as lively in direct comparison with the top racers from Canyon and Stevens in this test field. We suspect the reason for this is the carbon wheels from Xentis. Although the wheelset designed for folding tyres is remarkably well made, it is rather heavy for the material. The carbon frame of the "Litening SCR" is very stable, but the fork still has room for improvement in terms of measurement. The Campa "Super Record" fitted to the test bike works perfectly, and the Syntace components are also first class.

*Weighted weights; **Test frame size greased; ***Frame height: projected measurement from centre of bottom bracket to upper edge of head tube; cant: saddle/head tube cant at 75 cm seat height (centre of saddle frame - upper edge of headset cap).
