2,300 euros for a carbon frame with carbon wheels and a complete Ultegra drivetrain - that sounds incredible. Visually, the CCT looks high quality with its clean paintwork and colour-coordinated equipment. The riding impression is less convincing. Initially, the test bike was too small for our testers. However, the next size up would have been much too long with a 585 millimetre top tube. An intermediate size is missing here. Despite the size-related long seatpost extension, the bike feels very hard on the saddle, which is confirmed by the measured values. The biggest drawback, however, proved to be the wheels, which at first glance look very tempting. The brake flanks are not exactly parallel, so the bike jerks noticeably when braking; in addition, the braking effect is significantly lower than that of aluminium rims.
