The Conway has a good, but somewhat inharmonious spec. Slight weakness in the headset, little comfort on the saddle.

Hopefully the delivery condition of the Q-RC 800 was a slip-up: sharp burrs in the dropouts of the fork initially made it impossible to fit the front wheel. In addition, the steerer tube was borderline short. Visually, the bike is appealing and the colour coordination of the frame and components is successful. The impression of unpleasant hardness on the saddle remains from the ride test, which the measured value on the oversized seatpost does not adequately express. The fact that the well-made Fulcrum aero wheels are very stiff vertically and the Ardea saddle from Fizik hardly flexes at all only exacerbates this. Sluggish cables with unfavourable routing impair the shifting behaviour. A BB386 crank with adapters sits in the BB30 bottom bracket shell. Why not a BB30 crank?
