The San Remo 76 is characterised by its unique design.
The short head tube positions the handlebars low down - just the way racers like it. Angular tubes make the extremely stable frame stand out from the crowd.

With the square seatpost, however, the Belgian manufacturer overdoes it with independence. The tapered seat tube severely restricts the adjustment range of the seatpost. Despite the 560 millimetre top tube, the 1.80 metre tall testers did not quite reach the required seat height. This would be possible with the next larger frame, but then the frame would be quite long. The San Remo 76 was the only model in the test with the 105 groupset, which ranks below the Ultegra. Functionally, there is no noticeable difference between the groupsets. However, the higher weight of the 105 is one reason why the bike only came last on the scales in the test.

CONCLUSION Race-orientated, stable carbon frame, simply equipped, limited adjustment range of the seat post
