Offers plenty of travel on the saddle: Z3 from Felt.
Although the steeply sloping top tube gives a different impression, the geometry of the Z3 is relatively sporty for a marathon model.

According to TOUR criteria, the bike just about falls into the comfort road bike category in terms of the ratio of frame height to frame length. The long extension of the carbon seatpost provides plenty of travel on the saddle. The good impression of comfort is reinforced by 25-millimetre tyres mounted on slightly wider Fulcrum rims. Apart from the simple wheels and tyres in this price region, the equipment with the fully installed Ultegra groupset is at class level. A 32 sprocket takes the fear out of steep climbs. On fast descents, the bike doesn't remain as stable as many other models. However, the unsteadiness of the suspension is not really critical.

CONCLUSION Relatively light, moderately stable carbon frame with very good damping on the saddle. Gearbox suitable for mountain riding
