When aerodynamics AND good handling characteristics are required, the R5 is the perfect choice. Almost an all-rounder.

The outer shape of the R5 is identical to that of the RCA overframe (see TOUR 12/2013 ->) is identical. However, due to production in Asia instead of the USA and some changes to the carbon construction plan, it is much more favourable. Like the RCA, the R5 has so-called squoval profiles on all tubes in the wind, which are round at the front and flattened on the side facing away from the wind. As inconspicuous as this measure is, the effect is clear. Although the R5 is not as streamlined as a real aero frame, it is the fastest of the conventional models. Because the stiffness values, comfort and weight are also very good, the bike comes very close to being the perfect all-rounder. The riding position is on the edge of comfort geometry.
