The Gigadrive scores with high riding stability and good suspension comfort on the saddle, which could be improved even further if the aluminium seat post were replaced by a lightweight carbon model. The newly developed frame with a top tube that curves into the seat stays has an elegant and distinctive look. One flaw is that the cables running through the frame rattle audibly. The riding position is sporty, the steering behaviour very agile. For the price of €2,250, you get a complete Ultegra groupset and solid add-on parts from Procraft's own brand. The wide handlebars are a matter of taste, but the saddle is comfortable. The Mavic tyres run quite heavily, and the uncleanly finished joint on the front wheel rim requires reworking with sandpaper. Also available as a triple version for an extra 50 euros.
