The Gigadrive 4200 is Centurion's top model and not actually declared as a comfort road bike, but due to the relatively relaxed riding position and standard 25 mm tyres, it is definitely worth considering. The stiff carbon frame is visually rather restrained and performs well in the measured values; the equipment highlight and logical in terms of comfort is Shimano's Ultegra Di2, a one-off in this test field; however, the price of the electric shifting group meant that compromises were made with the other components: cheap, rather heavy wheels and the simple aluminium add-on parts drive up the overall weight and prevent the bike from also shining in the equipment rating. The thin aluminium handlebars seem less and less contemporary to us, but we found the fairly simple saddle to be very comfortable.
