The very stable frame of the Evolution 110 is technically identical to the model from the € 2,500 test in TOUR 4/13 - the better frame set score results from a much more laterally stiff fork in this test. For 800 euros less you get a mechanical instead of the electronic Ultegra and cheaper add-on parts. Once again, the Carver is one of the fairest offers in the test. The "downgrade" hardly detracts from the sporty and agile character of the bike, the workmanship of the frame is just right and the blue details set nice accents. During the test rides, we noticed the moderate comfort on the saddle; in addition, the 44 centimetre wide handlebars do not match the frame size and are quite uncomfortable to grip. Only a few offer a ten-year warranty including crash replacement. Unfortunately, the frame is only available in five sizes.
