With a set weight of 1,183 grams, the frame is now one of the lightest on the market - with unchanged high riding stability. Even more impressive is how well the suspension filters vibrations. Special tube cross-sections, the addition of damping basalt fibres in the rear triangle and fork as well as the ingenious VCLS parallelogram seatpost (€ 130 surcharge) perform a highly effective joint task that sets the model apart from many others. Visually, the frame, which has a technically sober appearance typical of the brand, is state-of-the-art with integrated cables and a press-fit bottom bracket. The geometry concept is interesting: the ratio of frame height to length is almost the same across all sizes. The good equipment is another argument in favour of the bike, which could at best be criticised for the limited adjustment range on the handlebars.
