It's hard not to go into raptures about the Ultimate CF SLX. The bike completed the course through the TOUR lab as one of the best models that TOUR has ever tested. It is light, extremely stable, impresses with outstanding damping on the saddle and, last but not least, an impressive price-performance ratio. In the internal speed comparison, however, the frameset only has the role of the runner-up. On our virtual race track, it is 17 seconds behind the Aeroad. 220 watts at 45 km/h put the Ultimate in the lower midfield of the test. With the standard, rather high steering bearing, the bike proves to be a comfort racer in disguise, on which you sit relaxed. A flatter headset, available as an accessory, also allows for a more race-like riding position.
