The Koblenz-based mail order company has given its XXL model a somewhat unconventional geometry. The wheelbase is barely longer than that of a full-size model, resulting in a very steep steering angle of 75.5 degrees. As the fork pre-bend has not been adjusted, this results in nervous steering behaviour. This design also means that foot space is wasted, which taller riders often desperately need. However, if you can cope with this, the bike offers the typical Canyon strengths. The stiff aluminium frame impresses with its solid construction, a very good weight/stiffness ratio for the material and a high level of comfort on the saddle. The equipment with Campa's "Chorus" groupset is almost unbeatable in terms of price.
