Very well equipped for the price; pronounced comfort geometry; gear gradation suitable for high mountain terrain.

The long head tube raises the handlebars on the Roadlite quite high, while the top tube is very short in test size L at 550 millimetres. With the spacers fitted to the test bike, the riding position is therefore unusually upright. The carbon seat post, the well-damped handlebar tape and 25 millimetre wide top-of-the-range Conti tyres also underline the comfort approach. The gearing is interesting: the 105 compact crank with 50/34 teeth, combined with a ten-speed mountain bike cassette with 11 to 32 teeth. This is actually a combination that should not work according to Shimano. But because the derailleur hanger is longer than usual, the upper idler pulley on the rear derailleur and the large sprocket keep sufficient distance. The only criticism of the well thought-out bike is the hard, slippery saddle.
