Canyon Roadlite 6.0
Inexpensive, stable, robust, light and well equipped: The "Roadlite 6.0" has no weaknesses.

The testers were also amazed at the cheapest bike in the Canyon range. 8.3 kilos for a 1,000 euro bike is certainly a statement. Compared to last year's model of the same name, the "Roadlite 6.0" has undergone some technical and visual changes for 2010 that bring it closer to the company's top models. The fork is now a new in-house development and the new asymmetrical seat tube is now a feature of all Canyon road bikes. The geometry also allows for a more relaxed riding position. The technical values of the aluminium frame are exemplary in this price range and raise the bike to "mid-range" level. At best, the "105" groupset can be criticised for looking a little outdated. Functionally, however, it offers no cause for complaint. The "Roadlite 6.0" has no other weaknesses, Ritchey "WCS" components (made of aluminium) and top tyres from Continental are much more than you would expect for this price.

*Weighted weights; **Test frame size greased; ***Frame height: projected measurement from centre of bottom bracket to upper edge of head tube; cant: saddle-headtube cant at 75 cm seat height (centre of saddle frame - upper edge of headset cap).
